Kovalam is a beach town on the Arabian Sea around 16 km outside Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) City in the Thiruvananthapuram District in Kerala, a state in south India. There are a number of beach resorts in and around Kovalam.

"Kovalam" means a grove of coconut trees and true to its name the village offers an endless sight of coconut trees. The crescent-shaped beach has three parts. The southern most beach , and the most popular, is light house beach. It offers an amazing sight of Vizhinjam mosque. Swimming and bathing are very refreshing and exhilirating in the waves. One can walk into the sea for about 100 metres without loosing ground. This cove is also the safest place for swimming. At many coastal places there are beautiful patches of coral reefs. The underwater views, which are visible during snorkeling, are really marvellous.

KOVALAM is finding a new significance in the light of several Ayurvedic salons, and recuperation and regeneration resorts which provide a slew of Ayurvedic treatments for the tourists. The virgin beaches on the southern side of Kovalam upto Poovar is enchanting for body and soul.

KUMARAKOM

Kumarakom the charming emerald peninsula jutting into the ever-effervescent Vembanad Lake takes you into the heart of the scenic lake where you'll come across plenty of traditional country crafts, boats and canoes. The fresh water of the lake runs into the mainland making a labyrinth of lagoons, brooks, canals and waterways. The backwater houses a variety of species of both fauna and flora. Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Its strategic importance over the centuries is underlined by the sobriquet Queen of the Arabian Sea. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala.

Day 15: Arrival at the Cochin resort. At leisure and Overnight at the Resort.

Day 16 to Day 20: At leisure for independent activities

Day 21: Transfer to Airport/ Railway station.

Cost Includes: The package cost is inclusive of accommodation in standard double rooms with breakfast, Airport /Railway Station pick up & drop and all applicable taxes.

Cost Excludes:
Expenses of personal nature such as hard/soft drinks, entrance charges, still/video camera fees at monuments, laundry, phone/fax, tips & gratuities and any items not specified in the inclusions list.

Flight/Train tickets.
Any increase in fuel costs.

• 25% hike in tariff during the peak season 1st July 20011 to 15th December 2011

• Alternate equivalent hotels will be arranged in case of non -availability of rooms.
